Game Summary
The JV Bears closed out their season with a very good win over a talented Liberty JV. This win was the Bears 6th win in a row. Allowing them to close out their tough season with a 9-6 record. 5-3 at home. The Bears took control early on & had some very good chances early. Ben and Matt did a nice job keeping the midfield squared away, and the Bears were able to press the outsides early and often. Ben Worley scored in the 29th minute of a nice assist from Larry Diaz. The Liberty offense was able to capitalize off a failed clearance and drew the game to a 1-1 tie. But the Bears answered back with a Larry Diaz goal in the 37th minute. Half ended with the Bears up 2-1. 2nd half was a lot like the first. With the Bears in control for the majority of the game, and getting some good looks again. Brandon Pappas iced the game with his goal in the 12th minute of the 2nd half. Liberty pressed hard all 2nd half but the Bears defense was just to organized and too focused to give up a 2nd. Great win.
