The Juarez-Lincoln Huskies basketball team (La Joya, TX), was overwhelmed 83-40 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX)

The Sabercats now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laredo LBJ for a non-league battle on Friday, November 16.

The Huskies (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Palmview (La Joya, TX). The Lobos come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Palmview was overwhelmed by Winn (Eagle Pass, TX), 48-39, in a non-league battle.
