In Thursday's non-league outing, the Murrah Mustangs (Jackson, MS) basketball squad edged the host Yazoo City Indians (Yazoo City, MS), by a count of 49-46.

The Mustangs (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Greenville-Weston (Greenville, MS). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Greenville-Weston was tipped by Gentry (Indianola, MS), 72-46, in a non-league outing.
