California High School Basketball - Mt. Carmel trounced by Hoover

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Hoover Cardinals basketball squad scored a big 72-39 victory over the Mt. Carmel Sundevils.

With the victory, Hoover improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA) to confront the Mariners in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 16. The Mariners come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Mar Vista lost 41-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Maranatha Christian (San Diego, CA)

Next up, the Sundevils confront the Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Mt. Carmel will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 70-56 non-league win over University City (San Diego, CA).
