Washington, DC High School Basketball - St. James winner over Georgetown Day
February 10, 2015: Washington, DC 20007 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the St. James Saints (St. James, MD) basketball squad felled the host Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC), by a margin of 71-53.
The Saints (14-5) will now prepare for their outing against St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD). The go into the non-league outing with a 15-7 record. In their last outing, St. Andrew's Episcopal was beaten by Flint Hill (Oakton, VA), 61-57, in a league outing.
The Mighty Hoppers now own a 3-17 record. They play next when they travel to Potomac School for a VISAA Division 1 outing on Thursday, February 12. Georgetown Day will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 59-53 league win over Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC). The Panthers record now stands at 13-11.
