Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Baldwin can't hold off Upper St. Clair
January 6, 2015: Upper St. Clair, PA 15241 The Upper St. Clair Panthers basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Baldwin Highlanders to 35 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Peters Township for a WPIAL AAAA 4 contest on Friday, January 9. Upper St. Clair will battle a Indians team coming off a 73-44 league loss to Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA). The Indians record now stands at 5-5.
The Highlanders (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Tigers enter the WPIAL AAAA 4 contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Moon Area was nudged by Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA), 62-55, in a league contest.
