The Upper St. Clair Panthers basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Baldwin Highlanders to 35 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Peters Township for a WPIAL AAAA 4 contest on Friday, January 9. Upper St. Clair will battle a Indians team coming off a 73-44 league loss to Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA). The Indians record now stands at 5-5.

The Highlanders (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Tigers enter the WPIAL AAAA 4 contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Moon Area was nudged by Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA), 62-55, in a league contest.
