South Carolina High School Football - Pendleton felled by Woodruff
October 2, 2015: Woodruff, SC 29388 In Friday's league game, the Woodruff Wolverines (Woodruff, SC) football team were victorious over the visiting Pendleton Bulldogs (Pendleton, SC), by a score of 40-14.
The Wolverines (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Carolina Academy (Greenville, SC). The Trojans come into the AA Region I game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Carolina Academy was knocked off by Blacksburg (Blacksburg, SC), 13-7, in a league game.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty for a AA Region I game on Friday, October 9. Pendleton will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 35-21 league loss to Chesnee (Chesnee, SC). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-5.
