Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA) and the host Central Cambria Red Devils (Ebensburg, PA), saw Bishop McCort's basketball squad knock off Central Cambria by a score of 48-33.

With the victory, Bishop McCort improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Crushers host Cambria Heights (Patton, PA) to battle the Highlanders in a Laurel Highlands 1 challenge on Thursday, December 13. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Cambria Heights won 77-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Bedford (Bedford, PA)

Next up, the Red Devils battle the Greater Johnstown Trojans (Johnstown, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 13. Central Cambria will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
