Florida High School Basketball - Tampa Catholic falls to Palm Harbor University
January 22, 2013: Palm Harbor, FL 34683 The Palm Harbor University Hurricanes basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Tampa Catholic Crusaders to 58 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hurricanes now sport a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clearwater for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 23. Palm Harbor University will meet a Tornadoes team coming off a 50-48 non-league loss to Lake Worth (Lake Worth, FL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 21-3.
The Crusaders (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against St. Petersburg Catholic (St. Petersburg, FL). The Barons enter the non-league contest with a 5-16 record. In their last contest, St. Petersburg Catholic was defeated by Academy of the Holy Names (Tampa, FL), 51-17, in a non-league contest.
