The Velma Jackson Falcons topped the host Mitchell Tigers basketball team by a final score of 55-47 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Provine Rams (Jackson, MS) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 19. Velma Jackson will attempt to move on its 16-2 season record.
