April 4, 2018: Palm Coast, FL 32137 The Matanzas Pirates baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Iroquois Chiefs to 4 in the Pirates non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Pirates (9-7) will now prepare for their match against Pine Ridge (Deltona, FL). The Panthers go into the 7A District 5 match with a 8-8 record. In their last match, Pine Ridge edged Matanzas (Palm Coast, FL), 12-1, in a league match.
The Chiefs (0-3) will now prepare for their match against St. Joseph Academy (St. Augustine, FL). The Flashes go into the non-league match with a 4-9 record. In their last match, St. Joseph Academy was edged by Bartram Trail (St. Johns, FL), 14-1, in a non-league match.
