The Ridgefield Tigers thwarted the host Stamford Black Knights football team by a count of 23-6 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Ridgefield upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Tigers host Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT) to confront the Falcons in a Fairfield County outing on Friday, September 25. The Falcons go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Ludlowe lost 53-28 in their recent league outing against Bridgeport Central (Bridgeport, CT)

With the loss, Stamford moves to 0-1 on the season. The Black knights host Greenwich (Greenwich, CT) to confront the Cardinals in a Fairfield County outing on Friday, September 25. The Cardinals go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Greenwich won 35-14 in their recent league outing against Norwalk (Norwalk, CT)
