In Saturday's non-league outing, the DeSmet Bulldogs (DeSmet, SD) basketball squad edged the visiting Colman-Egan C-E Hawks (Colman, SD), by a margin of 42-39.

The Bulldogs (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Estelline (Estelline, SD). The Redmen go into the B District 3 outing with a 1-3 record.

The C-E Hawks now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deubrook for a non-league outing on Friday, January 6. Colman-Egan will encounter a Dolphins squad coming off a 75-57 non-league loss to Flandreau (Flandreau, SD). The Dolphins record now stands at 3-1.
