The Anderson Trojans topped the host Bowie Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 59-42 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Austin Maroons (Austin, TX) in a 5A Region II District 15 game, on Tuesday, February 8. Anderson will attempt to move on its 16-14 season record. The Maroons enter the game with a 20-6 record after their 43-40 league win over Del Valle (Del Valle, TX).

With the defeat, Bowie moves to 8-25 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Westlake (Austin, TX) to face the Chaparrals in a 5A Region II District 15 game on Tuesday, February 8. The Chaparrals enter the game with a record of 8-18.
