New Jersey High School Basketball - Fair Lawn topples Wallkill Valley
December 29, 2010: Fair Lawn, NJ 07410 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Fair Lawn CUTTERS (Fair Lawn, NJ) basketball squad beat the visiting Wallkill Valley Rangers (Hamburg, NJ), by a count of 50-41.
The CUTTERS (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Northern Valley (Old Tappan, NJ). The Golden Knights go into the Big North outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Northern Valley was topped by Pascack Hills (Montvale, NJ), 61-44, in a non-league outing.
The Rangers now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hackettstown for a Northwest Jersey - Freedom outing on Tuesday, January 4. Wallkill Valley will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 40-26 non-league win over Butler (Butler, NJ). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
