April 27, 2018: Buckeye, AZ 85396 The Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) volleyball nudged the visiting Northwest Christian Crusaders (Phoenix, AZ), 3-2 in Friday's non-league outing.
With the win, Verrado upgrades its record to 8-9 on the year. The Vipers travel to Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ) to face the Saints in a non-league outing on Monday, April 30. The Saints go into the outing with a record of 5-14. Notre Dame Prep lost 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ)
The Crusaders now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they host Sunrise Mountain for a 5A West Valley outing on Monday, April 30. Northwest Christian will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Kellis (Glendale, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 20-4.
