The Mira Loma Matadors (Sacramento, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Center Cougars (Antelope, CA), 38-36 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Matadors (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA). The Cougars go into the Capital test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Del Campo was tipped by El Camino (Sacramento, CA), 52-46, in a league test.

The Cougars now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host River City for a Capital Valley test on Wednesday, January 14. Center will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 35-29 non-league loss to McClatchy (Sacramento, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 7-10.
