Georgia High School Football - New Manchester knocked off by Heard County
September 2, 2016: Franklin, GA 30217 Heard County Braves (Franklin, GA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting New Manchester Jaguars (Douglasville, GA), 38-28 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Heard County improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Darlington (Rome, GA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, September 9. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-1. Darlington lost 40-28 in their recent non-league test against Ridgeland (Rossville, GA)
With the loss, New Manchester drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Creekside (Fairburn, GA) to confront the Seminoles in a AAAAAA Region 5 test on Friday, September 9. The Seminoles come into the test with a record of 2-0. Creekside won 47-14 in their recent non-league test against Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA)
