New York High School Basketball - Baldwin thwarts Staten Island Academy
December 27, 2017: Staten Island, NY 10304 The Baldwin Bruins (Baldwin, NY) basketball knocked off the host Staten Island Academy Tigers (Staten Island, NY), 55-40 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Bruins (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Hicksville (Hicksville, NY). The Comets go into the Section 8 AA-2 test with a 3-2 record.
The Tigers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to North Rockland for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Staten Island Academy will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 55-49 non-league win over Scarsdale (Scarsdale, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 3-1.
