California High School Lacrosse - Acalanes drops to St. Ignatius
March 18, 2014: Lafayette, CA 94549 In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting St. Ignatius Wildcats lacrosse squad scored a tight 15-10 victory over the Acalanes Dons.
The Wildcats now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Francis for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 19. St. Ignatius will play a Lancers team coming off a 7-5 league loss to Gunn (Palo Alto, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 1-2.
The Dons (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Campolindo (Moraga, CA). The Cougars go into the Diablo Foothill match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Campolindo was overwhelmed by Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA), 12-11, in a league match.
