Forest Hill Patriots (Jackson, MS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS), 82-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Forest Hill upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Meridian (Meridian, MS) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 5-5. Meridian won 66-60 in their recent non-league bout against Sumter Central (York, AL)

Next up, the Cougars play the Brandon Bulldogs (Brandon, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Northwest Rankin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 60-48 league win over Terry (Terry, MS).
