California High School Basketball - Pomona nudges Bassett

January 11, 2018: La Puente, CA 91746

Pomona Red Devils (Pomona, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bassett Olympians (La Puente, CA), 61-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Pomona upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Red Devils travel to La Puente (La Puente, CA) to clash with the Warriors in a Miramonte bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-7. La Puente won 55-32 in their recent league bout against Ganesha (Pomona, CA)

Next up, the Olympians clash with the Edgewood Lions (West Covina, CA) in a Miramonte bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Bassett will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 43-42 league loss to Garey (Pomona, CA).
