Kentucky High School Baseball - Lexington Catholic loses to Roberson
April 6, 2013: Lexington, KY 40503 The Lexington Catholic Knights baseball team (Lexington, KY), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC)
The Rams now hold a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they host A.C. Reynolds for a 4A/3A Mountain outing on Tuesday, April 9. Roberson will face a Rockets team coming off a 11-1 league win over McDowell (Marion, NC). The Rockets record now stands at 11-2.
Next, the Knights face the Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs (Lexington, KY) in a District 43 outing, on Tuesday, April 9. Lexington Catholic will attempt to advance on its 7-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 9-2 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Heath (West Paducah, KY).
