The East Tech Scarabs basketball team (Cleveland, OH), was nudged 59-57 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Northland Vikings (Columbus, OH)

The Vikings now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mifflin for a Columbus City - North battle on Tuesday, January 5.

The Scarabs (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Dublin Jerome (Dublin, OH). The Celtics come into the non-league battle with a 6-0 record.
