The Halstead Dragons basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Pratt Greenbacks to 31 in the Dragons league triumph on Tuesday.

The Dragons now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hesston for a Central Kansas contest on Thursday, January 11. Halstead will battle a Swathers team coming off a 53-44 league win over Kingman (Kingman, KS). The Swathers record now stands at 8-1.

The Greenbacks (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Larned (Larned, KS). The Indians enter the Central Kansas contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Larned was defeated by Haven (Haven, KS), 71-59, in a league contest.
