Maryland High School Basketball - Potomac tops Douglass
March 4, 2014: Upper Marlboro, MD 20772 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD) and the host Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD), saw Potomac's basketball squad knock off Douglass by a count of 78-61.
With the victory, Potomac upgrades its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 6. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 16-7. Gwynn Park won 45-41 in their recent non-league match against Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD)
With the defeat, Douglass moves to 14-10 on the year.
