Maryland High School Basketball - North Point holds off Westlake

January 21, 2015: Waldorf, MD 20603

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD) and the host Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD), saw North Point's basketball squad nip Westlake by a margin of 79-74.

The Eagles (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Braves go into the Southern Maryland outing with a 7-5 record. In their last outing, Chopticon got by Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD), 49-29, in a league outing.

The Wolverines now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to La Plata for a Southern Maryland outing on Friday, January 23. Westlake will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 82-61 league win over St. Charles (Waldorf, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 10-1.
