California High School Basketball - Grace Brethren over Oakwood
December 30, 2017: North Hollywood, CA 91601 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Grace Brethren Lancers (Simi Valley, CA) and the host Oakwood Gorillas (North Hollywood, CA), saw Grace Brethren's basketball squad overcome Oakwood by a tally of 53-37.
With the victory, Grace Brethren improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Lancers host Fillmore (Fillmore, CA) to play the Flashes in a Frontier challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Flashes come into the challenge with a record of 3-5.
Next up, the Gorillas play the Buckley Griffins (Sherman Oaks, CA) in a Independence challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Oakwood will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Griffins come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 66-63 non-league loss to Avalon (Avalon, CA).
