In Thursday's non-league match, the host Point Pleasant Knights basketball team scored a good 72-53 triumph over the Ritchie County Rebels.

In their next game, the Knights confront the Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV) in a Cardinal challenge, on Tuesday, February 15. Point Pleasant will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Skyhawks come into the challenge with a 17-3 record after their 60-58 non-league win over Bluefield (Bluefield, WV).
