December 16, 2017: White River, SD 57579 The White River Tigers tipped the visiting McLaughlin Mustangs basketball team by a final score of 50-48 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Kadoka Kougars (Kadoka, SD) in a B Region 7 game, on Thursday, December 21. White River will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Kougars enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 55-44 league win over Philip (Philip, SD).
The Mustangs (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD). The Braves come into the A Region 6 battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte was nudged by Todd County (Mission, SD), 50-46, in a non-league battle.
