October 18, 2012: Roanoke, VA 24019 The Byrd Terriers football team (Vinton, VA), was knocked off 21-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA)
The Vikings (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Rockbridge County knocked off Alleghany (Covington, VA), 26-22, in a non-league challenge.
The Terriers now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Staunton River for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 25. Byrd will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
