Texas High School Football - Wills Point gets by Hillsboro

September 23, 2016: Wills Point, TX 75169

The Wills Point Tigers football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Hillsboro Eagles to 14 in the Tigers non-league win on Friday.

The Tigers now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Roosevelt for a 4A-2 Region II District 6 battle on Friday, October 7. Wills Point will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 54-6 non-league loss to Wilmer-Hutchins (Dallas, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-3.

Coming up next, the Eagles play the Godley Wildcats (Godley, TX) in a 4A-2 Region I District 4 outing, on Friday, October 7. Hillsboro will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 5-0 record after their 40-30 non-league win over Ferris (Ferris, TX).
