California High School Basketball - Santa Fe fells Alhambra
December 18, 2009: Alhambra, CA 91801 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Santa Fe Chiefs (Santa Fe Springs, CA) and the host Alhambra Moors (Alhambra, CA), saw Santa Fe's basketball squad overcome Alhambra by a score of 70-57.
With the victory, Santa Fe improves its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Rosemead (Rosemead, CA) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 23. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Rosemead lost 41-40 in their recent non-league challenge against San Marino (San Marino, CA)
Next up, the Moors play the Gabrielino Eagles (San Gabriel, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 19. Alhambra will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.

10 to 8 in favor of santa fe. Played well missed a lot of layups. But a good first quarter our press works need to make adjustments.
Second Quarter
santa fe had a good quarter making their shots and we missed 10 layups to finish the quarter 14 to 16 in favor of santa fe
Third Quarter
Both teams came out on fire. We missed a lot of layups but still managed a 21 to 23 third quarter in favor of santa fe.
Fourth Quarter
21 to 14 the chiefs out scored us by seven points and handed us a tough loss. We missed about 7 layups. Great jobs both teams but we could not finish
