The Buhach Colony Thunder (Atwater, CA) basketball crushed the host Atwater Falcons (Atwater, CA), 72-50 in Wednesday's league test.

The Thunder (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Turlock (Turlock, CA). The Bulldogs go into the Central California test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Turlock walloped Pitman (Turlock, CA), 48-40, in a league test.

The Falcons now own a 5-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Golden Valley for a Central California test on Friday, January 21. Atwater will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 59-47 league win over Merced (Merced, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 15-2.
