In Friday's non-league match, the host A.L. Brown Wonders football squad scored a good 42-14 victory over the Jesse Carson Cougars.

In their next game, the Wonders clash with the Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 7. A.L. Brown will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Blue Devils enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 52-32 non-league win over Davie (Mocksville, NC).

The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their match against North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Cavaliers enter the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, North Rowan thwarted Lexington Senior (Lexington, NC), 17-0, in a non-league match.
