Minnesota High School Basketball - Albany nips Thief River Falls
February 20, 2016: Thief River Falls, MN 56701 Albany Huskies (Albany, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Thief River Falls Prowlers (Thief River Falls, MN), 70-68 in a non-league game.
In their next game, the Huskies face the Zimmerman Thunder (Zimmerman, MN) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 22. Albany will attempt to move on its 17-8 season record. The Thunder enter the game with a 12-10 record after their 70-39 league win over Milaca (Milaca, MN).
With the defeat, Thief River Falls moves to 12-13 on the year. The Prowlers host Moorhead (Moorhead, MN) to face the Spuds in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 23. The Spuds enter the game with a record of 18-15. Moorhead lost 74-41 in their recent non-league game against Elk River (Elk River, MN)
