Texas High School Basketball - Rockwall knocked off by Coppell

The Coppell Cowboys basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Rockwall Yellowjackets to 33 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cowboys now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bell for a 6A Region I District 7 contest on Saturday, January 2. Coppell will meet a Raiders team coming off a 48-42 non-league loss to Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 5-11.

The Yellowjackets (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Naaman Forest (Garland, TX). The Rangers enter the 6A Region II District 11 contest with a 1-5 record.
