New York High School Football - Canandaigua Academy can't get by Brighton
September 24, 2016: Canandaigua, NY 14424 Brighton Barons (Rochester, NY) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team nip the host Canandaigua Academy Braves (Canandaigua, NY), 21-20 in a league test.
With the triumph, Brighton improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Barons host Greece Athena (Rochester, NY) to confront the Trojans in a Section 5 Monroe III test on Friday, September 30. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 4-0. Greece Athena won 34-18 in their recent league test against Brockport (Brockport, NY)
With the loss, Canandaigua Academy drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Braves host Greece Olympia (Rochester, NY) to confront the Spartans in a non-league test on Saturday, October 1. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-1.
