Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Burlingame Bearcats (Burlingame, KS) and the visiting Flinthills Mustangs (Rosalia, KS), saw Burlingame's basketball squad knock off Flinthills by a score of 71-59.

With the victory, Burlingame improves its record to 2-10 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Olpe (Olpe, KS) to battle the Eagles in a Lyon County challenge on Tuesday, January 27. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 10-0. Olpe won 66-55 in their recent league challenge against Madison (Madison, KS)

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Chase County Bulldogs (Cottonwood Falls, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 3. Flinthills will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record.
