Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Wilson prevails Cocalico
December 30, 2011: West Lawn, PA 19609 Wilson Bulldogs (West Lawn, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cocalico Eagles (Denver, PA), 49-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wilson upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Conrad Weiser (Robesonia, PA) to play the Scouts in a Berks County 1 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Scouts go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Conrad Weiser lost 58-31 in their recent non-league bout against Carlisle (Carlisle, PA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Lebanon Cedars (Lebanon, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Cocalico will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Cedars go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 64-23 non-league win over Kutztown (Kutztown, PA).
