December 27, 2012: Winthrop, MN 55396 The Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds topped the visiting New Ulm Eagles basketball team by a final score of 50-34 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Thunderbirds face the Springfield Tigers (Springfield, MN) in a Tomahawk game, on Friday, January 4. Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record.
