The New Albany basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Ripley Tigers to 53 in the non-league triumph on Saturday.

The now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pontotoc for a 4A Region 1 contest on Tuesday, December 8. New Albany will confront a Warriors team coming off a 84-62 non-league win over Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 7-1.

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kossuth (Kossuth, MS). The Aggies enter the 3A Region 1 contest with a 5-2 record.
