Pennsylvania High School Football - St. Ignatius routs Cathedral Prep
October 7, 2011: Erie, PA 16501 The St. Ignatius Wildcats football squad scored 42 points and restricted the host Cathedral Prep Ramblers to 7 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Francis for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 15. St. Ignatius will face a Red Raiders squad coming off a 42-27 league win over Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, NY). The Red Raiders record now stands at 4-2.
Coming up next, the Ramblers face the Aquinas Institute Little Irish (Rochester, NY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 14. Cathedral Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Little Irish go into the contest with a 6-0 record after their 50-7 non-league win over Canisius (Buffalo, NY).
