In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Cuthbertson Cavaliers basketball team scored a decisive 85-62 triumph over the Weddington Warriors.

In their next game, the Cavaliers face the Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 13. Cuthbertson will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 6-2 record after their 61-56 non-league loss to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC).
