Washington High School Volleyball - Morris over Columbia River
September 24, 2009: Vancouver, WA 98665 Morris Monarchs (Longview, WA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Columbia River Chieftains (Vancouver, WA), 3-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Monarchs clash with the Sequim Wolves (Sequim, WA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 26. Morris will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Wolves enter the game with a 6-0 record after their 3-1 league win over Port Townsend (Port Townsend, WA).
The Chieftains (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Fort Vancouver (Vancouver, WA). The Trappers enter the 3A Greater St. Helens game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Fort Vancouver dropped by Evergreen (Vancouver, WA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
