Game Summary

The Granville Boys Soccer Team traveled to play Argyle under the lights, a first for the Argyle program. Before the game, Rescott was working on long range free kicks and corners something that is the norm for him before the game. Little did he know that would be needed later on. The game started out as a midfield battle with both teams seeing chances. At the 1/2 the two teams were scoreless. Coming out of the 1/2 it was more of the same, with Granville holding Argyle to even fewer quality chances. In the 67th minute, Argyle scored to take a 1-0 lead. That score held until Parker Rescott fired a shot from 30 yards out to be Argyle Keeper Derrikk Raymond. Rescott would take a free kick from 30 yards out 3 minutes later that would give the Golden Horde the lead and the win. The Golden Horde Back Linen was top notch once again with O'Brien playing with a lot of confidence in the victory.
