In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Shadow Mountain Matadors basketball team scored a tight 67-65 triumph over the Thunderbird Chiefs.

In their next game, the Matadors confront the Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ) in a 4A Desert Sky match, on Friday, December 12. Shadow Mountain will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Sabercats enter the match with a 3-5 record after their 78-67 non-league loss to Apollo (Glendale, AZ).
