The Owosso Trojans (Owosso, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Haslett Vikings (Haslett, MI), 72-68 in Friday's league test.

The Trojans (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Ionia (Ionia, MI). The Bulldogs go into the Capital Area - Red test with a 4-12 record.

The Vikings now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they host Catholic Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. Haslett will meet a Cougars team coming off a 59-54 league win over Williamston (Williamston, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 16-0.
