The Fort Meade Miners baseball team (Fort Meade, FL), 6-3 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the visiting Avon Park Red Devils (Avon Park, FL)

The Red Devils now hold a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mulberry for a 5A District 10 outing on Thursday, April 7. Avon Park will confront a Panthers team coming off a 10-0 league loss to McKeel Academy (Lakeland, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 6-17.

Next, the Miners confront the Frostproof Bulldogs (Frostproof, FL) in a 1A District 8 outing, on Friday, April 8. Fort Meade will attempt to advance on its 13-10 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 8-14 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Ridge Community (Davenport, FL).
