Kentucky High School Basketball - Assumption overwhelms Louisville Collegiate
January 6, 2012: Louisville, KY 40205 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Assumption Rockets (Louisville, KY) and the visiting Louisville Collegiate Titans (Louisville, KY), saw Assumption's basketball squad trounce Louisville Collegiate by a score of 69-24.
With the victory, Assumption improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Butler (Louisville, KY) to battle the Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Butler won 51-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Sacred Heart (Louisville, KY)
Next up, the Titans battle the Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Louisville Collegiate will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 52-24 non-league win over Kentucky Country Day (Louisville, KY).
